Email Setup
Enable your agent to receive and respond to emails. Each agent gets a unique email address.
How It Works
Each agent is assigned an email address in the format org-slug-agent-slug@agents.lenno.ai. When someone sends an email to this address, the agent processes it and sends a reply.
Setup
- Go to your agent’s Channels tab
- Click Add Channel and select Email
- The agent’s email address will be displayed
- Save the configuration
No additional setup is needed – the email channel is ready to use immediately.
Features
- Inbound processing – emails are converted to text and processed by the agent
- Threaded replies – responses maintain email thread structure
- Attachments – the agent can process text-based attachments
Tips
- Share the agent’s email address with users who need to interact via email
- Email responses may take slightly longer than real-time channels due to email delivery
- For best results, keep email content focused on a single topic per thread
