Email Setup

Enable your agent to receive and respond to emails. Each agent gets a unique email address.

How It Works

Each agent is assigned an email address in the format org-slug-agent-slug@agents.lenno.ai. When someone sends an email to this address, the agent processes it and sends a reply.

Setup

  1. Go to your agent’s Channels tab
  2. Click Add Channel and select Email
  3. The agent’s email address will be displayed
  4. Save the configuration

No additional setup is needed – the email channel is ready to use immediately.

Features

  • Inbound processing – emails are converted to text and processed by the agent
  • Threaded replies – responses maintain email thread structure
  • Attachments – the agent can process text-based attachments

Tips

  • Share the agent’s email address with users who need to interact via email
  • Email responses may take slightly longer than real-time channels due to email delivery
  • For best results, keep email content focused on a single topic per thread
